A powerful direct statement of conscience by artist David Becker. A series of meditations on the American flag, originally created as an installation of twelve 60x48” works on paper, each slightly different and unique, each image becoming darker and ending as an image of darkened jail bars.
Posters of the original artwork were installed throughout the streets of New York City as a campaign of passive resistance in October 2025.
